Welcome to the website of mic-GmbH and mic-USA. Our company developed a reliable technology for continuous mass flow measurement of all kind of solid materials. Our focus is primarily on the measuring and controlling the mass flow of pulverized coal in electric power generation stations. This is important because optimizing (matching fuel and air flow in the correct stoichometric ratio) the combustion process minimizes the production of nitrous oxides (NO_^x) and carbon dioxide (CO_²) per unit of electricity generated.

Since the founding of mic-GmbH in 2001 we have sold more than 1000 of our sensors worldwide and since 2004, we also offer our measurement technology for other solid flow measurement applications.
